Welcome to Dream Pixels! These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Dream Pixels software and related services. Please read these Terms carefully before using the software.

1. Service Description

Dream Pixels is a dynamic desktop wallpaper engine that provides the following features:

• Multiple built-in beautiful dynamic wallpapers
• Playground - AI-assisted wallpaper creation tool
• Wallpaper management and customization settings
• Steam Workshop content sharing (where applicable)
• Achievement and progress tracking system

2. License Grant

2.1 Software License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Dream Pixels software for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the software
• Rent, lease, sell, or transfer the software license
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the software
• Use the software for any illegal purpose
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent technical protection measures in the software

3. User Content

3.1 Your Creations

Wallpapers and content you create through the Playground belong to you. You retain all rights to your original content.

3.2 Content Sharing

If you choose to share your creations via Steam Workshop or other means, you grant us and other users a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content.

3.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for content you create and share. You warrant that your content:

• Does not infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Does not contain illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or other inappropriate content
• Does not contain malicious code or harmful software
• Complies with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Rights

The Dream Pixels software and all its components (including but not limited to code, design, icons, built-in wallpapers, and documentation) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

4.2 Third-Party Content

The software may contain third-party components and libraries, which are subject to their respective license terms. Relevant license information can be found in the software's "About" page.

4.3 Trademarks

"Dream Pixels" and related logos are our trademarks. You may not use these trademarks without written permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

5.1 "As Is" Basis

The software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Warranties of fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of non-infringement
• Warranties that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted

5.2 Use at Your Own Risk

Your use of the software is at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the software will meet all your needs or be fully compatible with your hardware or other software.

5.3 Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services (such as Steam or AI service providers).

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages

7. Termination

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the software.

We may immediately terminate or suspend your access if you violate any provision of these Terms, without prior notice.

7.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, you must cease using the software and delete all copies. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modified Terms become effective upon posting. Continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

We will notify you of significant changes through:

• In-app notifications
• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Announcements on official channels

9. General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the software and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
